Lifestyle precinct at Tun Razak Exchange to open in 4Q2023
Mitch Wilson, project executive for The Exchange TRX and head of retail industry for Lendlease Malaysia, claims that the lifestyle department is visualized as a “city-defining venture” within TRX. “As an international organization, we will display our international placemaking expertise along with our 43-year record in Malaysia to offer our signature method to experimental market.”
The Exchange TRX, the lifestyle precinct of the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) in Kuala Lumpur, is set to launch in 4Q2023. According to property developer Landlease, The Exchange TRX will most likely have at least 400 stores throughout four retail degrees, using 1.3 million sq ft of total net lettable place.
Shops will include “new-to-market brands, statement outlets, and also reimagined outlet types”. Support renters such as Golden Display Cinemas, Japanese department store Seibu, and Hong Kong’s Dairy Farm Group. There will also be 100 eating outlets.

The Exchange TRX will have a 10-acre rooftop public-activated park. Called TRX City Park, it is created by Lendlease in joint venture with landscape designers Oculus & Pentago. It definitely will feature young children’s backyard, water attributes, as well as shaded enclaves. It is going to also work as a venue to hold fairs plus events.
