Surbana Jurong opens new global headquarters in Jurong Innovation District

Sean Chiao, Group Chief Executive Officer of Surbana Jurong, claims that the campus acts as a living lab for innovating remedies and driving the boundaries of sustainable development. “In Surbana Jurong Campus, our assorted talents work together to solve our clients’ most complex issues, satisfying our objective, Actual effect, made jointly.”

Surbana Jurong unveiled its new overseas central office, the Surbana Jurong Campus, in CleanTech Park within the Jurong Innovation District. The establishment was formally launched on March 13, with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong in attendance.

The campus was created by Surbana Jurong’s architects in partnership with Safdie Architects to reflect the principle of a “campus in nature.” Previously an undeveloped greenfield place, the campus has been developed to maintain more than half of its standing eco-friendly area. Built-up environment-friendly areas were changed with rooftop yards, green indoor gardens, and comprehensive exterior landscape design.

The property development has been awarded the Building and Construction Authority’s (BCA) Green Mark Platinum Super Low Energy and BCA-Health Promotion Board Green Mark Platinum for Healthier Workplaces for its efforts in sustainability and advertising much healthier lifestyles. This includes supplying end-of-trip establishments, including onsite bike shelfs and showers.

The campus covers 1.2 million sq ft in built-up area and can suit 4,000 workers and the larger community across 10 towers. The campus is assumed to house staff members from a wide range of individuals in Singapore within one roof.

The 10 towers are interconnected by a pedestrian pathway and closed yards, enabling all-natural light and fresh air to stream thru. The development features amenities like a 1,000-seater multi-purpose place, a junior ballroom, rooftop patios, a team lobby, table tennis, and an upcoming gym facility.
